Drogie piękne 42-dniowe dziecko w ramionach Twojej pięknej matki, /Dear little baby in your beautiful mammy's arms,
Masz sześć tygodni! (42 dni!) Tá tú sé seachtaine d'aois! (42 lá!)
You are six weeks old! (42 days!)
* Maidin mhaith as Gaillimh * Good morning from Galway * Pozdrowienia od sąsiada z Galway *
Some people in this crazy way of things right now say in the beautiful English language, "grand risings", instead of "good morning".Each to their beautiful own. Own.It.
But, everybody who knows me better than superficially knows that I don't give a (beautiful) tinker's curse, nor a (gorgeous) fiddler's fart, about the Jonesiz.
(Except for caring about their well-being and wellness).
BUT there IS ONE PERSON who's opinion DOES MATTER TO ME.
And that is my good friend Niall Guy, formerly of the beautiful, historic, important, gigantic James Connolly Tower, Ballymun, where I lived blissfully with him that year.
If *I* were to say "Grand Risings" to you or to anyone, I would have Niall's beautiful face and voice in my head saying:
"Ya fukin' SAP Briadge!"
But I digress.
Do you love music? Singing? Swaying to music? Lilting along? Humming? Whistling along?
Do you *love* languages? Mother tongues? Father tongues? OtherLanguages? Romance languages? Slavic languages? Ancient beautiful Celtic languages? Groovy languages with clicks and all groovy types of things? The beautiful clever English language?
(I *know* you're a bit young and wee for all of that Lovely Diana, but in a previous life maybe???)
Do you like to be silly? And childlike? And singing out of tune as in Ger Wolfe's beautiful song "I watched the sun"?
Do you like to laugh? And copy accents? And daydream? And talk to your imaginary friends?
Well! Have a listen to this 23-minute excerpt from my radio show "Rogha Bhríde" - Bríd & Brigit's choice - Music to Nourish & Heal, from Flirt FM 101.3, Galway.
Start your day with a few lovely things around you.
Have your breakfast coffee in your favourite cup. (Tell your ma and da!)
With your favourite colours around you.
Just tell yer ma to find 3 things that you love to look at, and place them on her table or breakfast counter so you can see them while having yourself 20 minutes of peace and tranquility this new day in your bouncy-bed-thingy.
Right Little Lady, I know *you* have funk all else to do today but lie there like a beautiful lazy layabout, being boob fed by that gorgeous mammy of yours & cooned at by that "tall and kind" daddy of yours, but
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,But I have promises to keep, (myself)And miles to go before I sleep,And miles to go before I sleep.
and my wee beautiful gentle reminder to go get meself a 'nother cuppa coffee has just sounded.
That be, my beautiful "hillside" wooden-sounding thing that goes off on my mobile phone, which sounds like that gorgeous wee wooden box on a drum kit in a Céilí Band, like the Shannon Vale Céilí Band, innit pet?
PS What did you say kochane piękne dziecko. WHERE'S THE Essential Rogha Bhríde Radio Show playlist for today?
